Healthy soil is where it all begins.
We are building a Soil Health and Agroecology Institute focused on research, education, and farmer training in regenerative agriculture. Through soil biology, natural farming, agroforestry, and field demonstrations, we help rebuild living, carbon-rich soils and create more resilient farms.

Pillar 02 — Water & Groundwater
Securing water, drop by drop.
Water is the foundation of every thriving ecosystem. Through recharge shafts, percolation pits, nala restoration, open well recharge and village tank desilting, our watershed programme captures monsoon rain and returns it to the landscape, supporting farms, ecosystems and rural communities.
Each recharge shaft can recharge crores of litres of rainwater every year, helping revive dried borewells and ensuring reliable water for farms and villages.

How rainwater becomes groundwater
Every recharge shaft is carefully engineered to capture rainwater, filter it naturally and return it to underground aquifers, restoring groundwater for farms and surrounding communities.

Pillar 03 — Trees & Agroforestry
25 lakh trees, woven into farms.
Native and fruit trees, including Mango, Malabar Neem, Neem, and other indigenous species, are planted along farm boundaries, degraded lands, and agroforestry plots. Through syntropic farming, we weave trees into productive landscapes that restore biodiversity while helping farmers diversify their income.

Pillar 04 — Indigenous Cow & Gaushala
The native cow, at the heart of the farm.
We are establishing a 200-cow Indigenous Cow Research and Conservation Centre dedicated to preserving native breeds, promoting natural farm inputs, advancing livestock-integrated farming, and creating new rural livelihoods.

The Foundation Has Been Laid
The foundation stone for the Indigenous Cow Research and Conservation Centre was laid in the presence of industrialist Mr. Jitendrasingh Rawal (Universal Starch Chem Ltd.), marking a significant milestone in Aaranya Foundation's vision to preserve native breeds and strengthen regenerative farming.
